A LITTLE HISTORY

Some years back, NASA decided they needed to make things more comfortable for their astronauts. Specifically, they needed to find a way to relieve some of the intense pressure they went through during lift-off into outer space. So they put their scientists on it and thus was born “Memory Foam.” NASA, never being one to profit from their inventions, went ahead and released the formula for memory foam to the public and we have been blessed with it ever since. After the release of their formula everybody and his brother began making memory foam products. At the same time, a group of Swedish scientists were looking at memory foam and saying “We can improve this. We can make it better.” So after spending millions of dollars and putting in several years of research, “Tempur-pedic” was born. Tempur-pedic is a memory foam type product, but is far superior to standard memory foam. It is more supportive, more comforting and has far greater pressure relieving qualities than standard memory foam. Originally marketed to hospitals as beds for burn victims, it quickly became obvious that everybody could enjoy the benefits that Tempur-pedic had to offer.
